Steve Metro was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. A former engineer and businessman, he now devotes his time to woodworking, his lifelong passion. He is particularly interested in creating functional art—charcuterie boards, shelving, furniture, vases, bar tops, headboards—incorporating reclaimed materials such as old flooring, copper piping, fallen trees, etc.
